Yes, we will go over all the equipment on the boat with you as well as a chart of the area, that way you will know all the best places to go and can have a great day on the water! This briefing typically takes about 30 minutes.

Full refunds are provided with advanced notice of 72 hours prior to the start of the rental time. Cancellations within the 72 hours cancellation period will be billed in full. Refunds will be issued for severe weather related activity specific to our area of navigation resulting in an official small craft advisory warning. Please note that heavy rain or the inability to access the reefs are not an applicable reasons for cancellations. Refunds will also be provided in the case of any equipment issues that render the vessel inoperable and a replacement vessel is not available.

We ask that anyone renting a boat have some prior boating experience, be at least 21 years of age and have completed the Florida Boating Safety course found at www.boatus.org/florida/ that is also acceptable. If you do not meet these requirements we will be happy plan a tour with one of our captains.

You are 100% responsible for any damage that occurs to the boat for the duration of the rental.

Your rental boat will provided to you freshly cleaned. Please plan to return it rinsed and free of debris. If you plan to fish please clean up throughout the day.
There is a $100 cleaning fee for boats returned requiring disproportionate cleaning time by our crew.

We provide all required USCG safety equipment including life jackets, fire extinguishers, flares, whistle, throw able flotation device, etc.,
All children under the age of 6 in Fl are required to have a wearable life jacket. Parents are responsible to provide life jackets for all children under the age of 6.

Please bring whatever you choose to eat or drink during your day out on the water. Remember it can be very hot here at certain times of the year so be sure to bring plenty of drinking water. You should also plan to bring towels, swimwear, polarized sunglasses, water shoes, hats or visors, and sunscreen.

It is essential that you do NOT bring anything illegal on the boats: this includes drugs/medications and firearms. Please consume alcohol responsibly. The operator of the boat cannot consume alcohol immediately prior to the rental or during the rental period. Please do not bring any towable water toys on the boats, such as skis, wakeboards, kneeboards, or tubes. Towing is NOT permitted from the Boat.

We are pet friendly! Do consider bringing an appropriate canine floatation device for your dog. They can easily tire swimming or accidentally fall/jump overboard.

Your privacy is important to us at Key Largo Water Sports. E-mail addresses will not be sold, rented or leased to 3rd parties. We will use email addresses collected for direct communication from us regarding your boat rental or charter trip. Email may be sent in occasion to inform you of special offers and internet-only sales and specials. You will be able to opt-out of such communications at any time.
Information that is Gathered from Visitors
In common with other websites, log files are stored on the web server saving details such as the visitor’s IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit. Where registration is required, visitors’ email and username shall be stored on the server. Cookies may be used to remember visitor preferences when interacting with the website.
